CLOSED

Today the neighborhood was quiet. Ben wondered why. He was always thinking. As Ben was munching on an apple, Skiler was relaxing on the couch. All they wanted to do was relax. They played some jazz music and ate some cake. “Just relax,” said Ben. Skiler said, “I will.” Together they relaxed. It was lovely, just the way they liked it. RELAXING IS PERFECT. And they fell asleep.

The next morning… they were soooooooooooo excited. Today they were going to Disneyland. So they packed some snacks and different books. They were ready to go. When they got there, GUESS WHAT THEY SAW, CLOSED

They were so disappointed. Ben was confused. They both wondered why it would be closed. They said today was open. They snuck inside and heard workers chattering, “We are building a new place for the fire system.” Ben was shocked. Why would they do that? Disneyland was meant to have fun, not to be changing. They went back home. But they knew that they had a happy day.
